Rotatrix Purchase Terms

What You're Getting

Each Rotatrix is a hand-modified Kensington SlimBlade Pro with an integrated custom processing module, fully assembled and tested before shipping. Your purchase includes the device, a perpetual hardware-locked license to the Rotatrix host application, and access to all currently available third-party integrations. Early adopters will receive new integrations as they're developed during this initial launch period.

Payment

Payment is handled through Stripe via credit or debit card. You have standard card-level buyer protections.

Warranty

Rotatrix devices are warranted for one year from the date of delivery against hardware defects, including the original SlimBlade Pro components and all modifications. This covers issues like sensor failure, connection problems, or other hardware malfunctions. The warranty does not cover physical damage from misuse, drops, or liquid exposure.

Please note that modification voids the original Kensington warranty, so this warranty is your sole hardware coverage for the device.

Software

The Rotatrix host application and integrations are actively maintained and updated. Compatibility with supported applications is an ongoing development effort and is not a warranty matter. Software updates are provided as they become available.

Defective Units

If your device arrives non-functional or develops a hardware defect within the warranty period, contact me at [email protected] and I'll replace or refund it.

Limitation of Liability

Rotatrix devices are provided as-is. Icebound Flame LLC's liability is limited to the purchase price of the device.
