Rotatrix Software License (Interim)

This is an interim license for the Rotatrix host application and bundled integrations, pending a full End User License Agreement. By downloading or using Rotatrix software, you're agreeing to these terms.
What You're Allowed to Do
You can install and use the Rotatrix software on your computer, with Rotatrix hardware you've purchased from Icebound Flame LLC. The license is for your personal or internal business use, and it doesn't expire as long as you continue to follow these terms.
What You're Not Allowed to Do
- Copy, redistribute, sublicense, or sell the software.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it (except where law specifically permits).
- Remove or alter copyright, patent-pending, trademark, or proprietary notices.
- Use it with hardware not from Icebound Flame, except where I've authorized that in writing.
- Use it as the basis for developing a competing product.
Patent-Pending
The Rotatrix system, including the software, contains patent-pending elements. This license doesn't grant you any rights under any patents or applications.
Updates
I'll release updates and improvements to the software when I can, but I'm not promising any specific schedule or feature set.
No Warranty
The software is provided as-is. I can't guarantee it'll be bug-free, work for every use case, or stay compatible with every third-party application forever. Your hardware warranty is covered separately under the Purchase Terms.
Liability Limit
If something goes wrong, my liability for software issues is limited to what you paid for the software (or the hardware bundle including the software) in the past twelve months. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data, lost work, that kind of thing.
Termination
If you breach these terms, this license ends and you'll need to stop using the software and remove it from your systems.
Governing Law
This license is governed by New York law. Any disputes go to courts in New York County, NY.
Interim Status
This is a stopgap license while I work on a full End User License Agreement. When the full version is ready, it'll replace this document and I'll let you know. If you keep using the software after that, you're agreeing to the updated terms.
